Juicy Chicken Breast In The Oven

Juicy Chicken Breast In The Oven

This is one of my favorite recipe ever.. I always hated chicken breast in the oven, until a friend of mine gave me this AWESOME trick to have crazy juicy chicken breasts from the oven! The key, is to brine the chicken in salty water for a few hours in the fridge... At first, I thought it will be weird to soak chicken in water hehe. But no, its the best advice I ever got for cooking.

You just put 1/4 cup of salt into 4 cup of water. Stir and make sure the salt is dissolved. Then just put the chicken in the water, cover and put into the fridge for a few hours... 2 hours and + is fine. I usually do it 6 hours in advance thought.

When it's ready, preheat the oven at 450 degrees (F) and take out the chicken. Use paper towel to remove the excess of water. Put them in a pan so you can brush the chicken with olive oil or melted butter (I highly prefer melted butter) and add the seasoning of your choice on both side.

My friend gave me this mix that I find AMAZING..

1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
1/2 teaspoon of paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Then you put the pan in the oven for about 18 minutes. I go sometimes up to 20 minutes MAX.

And last step, remove the pan from the oven and cover it with aluminium foil for 5 minutes.

You chicken will be so juicy, its amazing! It's really good hot, or you can even cut it in slices, put them in the fridge in order to make some wraps or to add to a salad.

Bon appétit :)
